Objective, support new F&B outlets at London Gatwick:
o support the success of new Food and Beverage outlets at London Gatwick, a survey, with over 1,000 respondees, was commissioned to better understand awareness levels of retailers and outlets.
Expectation:
Driving brand awareness in terms of both having presence in the terminal, and the offering, would be beneficial in driving consideration.
Results:
Retailers who invested in advertising benefited from substantially increased awareness vs those that didn’t – including those located in similar parts of the departure lounge.
Furthermore, this gap in awareness levels increased even more so at those times of day when customers didn’t necessarily expect outlets to be offering what they want (i.e. breakfast, afternoons and evenings).
